Under this programme

• Promoted and capacitated village level labour groups of most vulnerable sections (including women, Scheduled Castes and minorities)
• One block level federation by the name Ghaghra Visthapit Kisan Majdoor Sangh formed
• Formed eight disaster management task forces

These village level groups and block forums are facilitating the access of rights and entitlements through intermediation with gram panchayat and block level government functionaries. Specific cases undertaken were 100 days’ labour and its wages under MNREGA, partial public distribution system, timely disbursement of old age pension, mid-day meals, etc.

Structured training programmes, field-based training and exposure visits of participating community, team members are integral essential activities performed regularly.
