District level workshop on Child Labor, marriage and sexual abuse concluded in the chair of DPO
Under the Access to Justice Program, the district-level workshop was successfully concluded on 31St August 2024 under the joint aegis of Aparajita Samajik Samiti and the District Administration.
The workshop was chaired by the District Probation Officer and hosted by Abhay Pandey, Program Lead of Aparajita Samajik Samiti. The primary objective of the workshop was to develop a district-level strategy to address and mitigate the issues of child marriages and child labor. Representatives from various departments shared their insights and contributed to the strategic planning process.
Key participants included Assistant Labour Commissioner Mr. N.K. Chaudhary, ADIOS, CDPO Mrs. Meenakshi Pandey, DPO Mr. Ashwani Tiwari, CWC President Mr. Sarvesh Awasthi, Om Prakash from the Department of Social Welfare, SI Priya from the Women Police Station, SI Indrajeet, SI Ajay Kumar, Prabha Mani from the One Stop Centre, and Pallavi, Madhuri, and Priti from the Childline department.
The workshop was also attended by the media persons.
